I am a self-motivated IT professional based in Maryland with over 5 years of experience in the tech field, with a focus in Cybersecurity, TCP/IP networking, Information Technology, and a variety of programming languages. I currently hold my CompTIA Security+, Network+, and A+ certifications. I love constantly learning about new technologies and how we can improve our tech infrastructures to create safer, more efficent, and more user friendly systems for us all. My Cybersecurity Homelab
Here are the tools I use to put my Cybersecurity and Networking skills into practice at home!
Proxmox Bare-Metal Hypervisor
My hypervisor of choice is Proxmox, running bare-metal on an Intel NUC 9 mini PC. This is what I use to run all my other virtual servers.

Windows Server 2022 VM
This Windows Server virtual machine is what I use to run my own Active Directory and Domain services on my home network.

Splunk Enterprise
A Windows-based Security Information and Event Management tool I use to detect security intrusion events on my network devices within my Windows Active Directory Domain.

Nessus Essentials
A vulnerability scanner I use to detect potential security vulnerabilites on my network devices.

A flavor of Linux that I use to perform penetration testing on my network in order to simulate potential cyberattacks and test my defenses.

Cisco Packet Tracer
A tool I use to simulate computer networks in a virtual enviroment, allowing me to put my TCP/IP networking skills into practice.
